How much cover can I take out?
-
The amount of lump sum cover for loss of medical is limited to the total cost of your training course, plus accommodation if paid in advance as a lump sum. At the time of a claim it is limited to the lower of the sum insured or the cost of the course fees incurred plus any course fees you are contractually committed to pay. The total cover for lump sum and monthly benefits combined should not exceed £200,000. For the purpose of this calculation the monthly benefit is multiplied by the number of months benefit chosen i.e. £500 X 24 months = £12,000 benefit.
